  • Audience:
    • Identify teams or groups of people who should know about a topic
    • Narrow it down to the key people within those interested group
    • Categorise them in terms of level of interest
  • Timing:
    • Two categories: 
      • Communicating when as soon as something happens
      • Can wait later based on the past or upcoming events
  • Format:
    • Intent vs Granularity
      • Intent: Information passing vs decision making
      • Granularity: Low level vs high level
